Marianaza

This was something different, it looks like it has been around for decades. Still inviting though. The meat is being grilled in a big fireplace by the waitresses, an interesting concept. Food is good, lots of wine to choose from. The two waitresses are understaffed, though. They were constantly running between greeting new arrivals, answering the phone, taking orders and grilling the meat. Somehow they managed to get it all done, but we still had to struggle a bit to ask for the check.

Excellent, excellent. Never fails. Pasta primi of the highest order. Meats from the fire absolutely wonderful. Vegetables and accompaniments of high standard. Wines excellent. Home made deserts to die for. Great service at affordable prices. The best. Please do it!!

Nice place. Tables definitely too tight, difficulties to seat for a curvy person. The chef is cooking meet on wood fire, at sight, open to the dining room. Well balanced choice of appetizers, pastas and meet. Personnel extremely nice and available. Prices reasonable.

This restaurant has some of the best we tried on our trip. We absolutely loved it. The ambiance was cute, the service was excellent, the house wine was delicious, and I cannot talk up the food enough. We will definitely return if ever back in Faenza!

Delicious barbecue with pork and veal meat and mixed grilled vegetables. 11 july: two barbecue grills, one with mixed meat and the second with mutton (filet, ribs and leg) and Sangiovese wine. Delicous, well-cooked, perfectly salted, and topped with some aro,amici herbs. Perfect, in my humble opinion.

I was there on my own but felt very comfortable being there. The food, service and atmosphere is great. Cooking is done on a wood fire.

What amazing food and service and ever so helpful that most of the staff I encountered spoke English. The ragù with the cappelletti was like no other ragù I’ve had before. And the pan a cotta was amazing. It was so dense and creamy, nearly like even thicker double cream…just wow.

We stopped in this lovely local restaurant on our way back from a trip in Umbria. It is a fantastic trattoria with a big fireplace where they grill meat on the live flames, also serving a number of traditional dishes of the "Romagnola" cuisine.
